Frequently Asked Questions

How can I tell if the material contains asbestos?

While a few asbestos products are recognizable due to the age and material used, in most situations a test is required to determine the presence of asbestos. Without the asbestos testing, we can not tell 100% if it is asbestos.

Why should I hire a professional asbestos company?

There are many rules and regulations to follow when handling asbestos. Asbestos is considered a controlled substance, and needs to be handled with great caution. Whenever asbestos is disturbed, there should be qualified, knowlegeable, and experienced personnel doing that type of work. Notifications sent to the Bay Area Air Quality Management District are mandatory for demolition of friable asbestos. Our company will take care of the notifications so you don't have to.

Are we a licensed company?
Yes! In fact, we are licensed, insured, and registered as abatement contractors. Our supervisors are refreshed annually with all the most up-to-date information in the industry, and all of our workers are asbestos certified.

What are the asbestos classifications?

There are two different types of classifications we use to describe asbestos. One type is hazardous, which means the asbestos is friable. Simply put, you can crush it into pieces with a human hand. The other type of asbestos is non-hazardous, which means it non-friable.
